National Minimum Wage increase as of 01 March 2022

The gazetted increase for the national minimum wage is R23.19 per hour for all employees, including farmworkers and domestic workers.

The increase is effective from 01 March 2022

Employees in expanded public works programme new minimum wage is R12,75 per hour.

The minimum wage excludes any other benefits.
